Home made oat milk bread loaf

Introducing the easy to make, beginners bread loaf from naturopath Kelly Healey. Top with some nut butter or mashed avocado and you're in business! 

Makes 1 loaf of bread
INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of Califia Farms Original Oat Milk
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tspns salt
  • 3 cups of wholemeal bread flour
  • 2 tspns of dry active yeast
  • 1 spray olive oil

METHOD:
1) In a large bowl pour the Califia Original Oat Milk, water, salt and active yeast.
2) Add the wholemeal bread flour and knead the dough until all combined.
3) Cover the dough with a dry tea towel and leave to the side in a warm room and allow it to double in size and rise.
4) Preheat the oven to 210 Degrees.
5) Once the bread has sat for 2 hours, add a loaf liner to a bread loaf tin and spray with a little olive oil so it doesn’t stick. And then place the dough into the loaf tin and put in the oven.
6) Cook the bread for roughly 30-35 minutes until the top starts to turn golden. Allow it to sit on a wire rack out of the loaf tin and then slice and enjoy.
